Excursions
Kinahugan Falls

This remote waterfall is rarely visited. Most of the people in the nearby town don’t even know of its existence. These beautiful waterfalls are located about 45 min. from the resort. This day trip will include transportation (driver included), guide, lunch and drinks. Relax and swim in the clear pool at the base of the falls or swim up to the rocks where you can be showered by the rushing water. This is the Philippines, so there are no rules! Our guide will assist you in any manner and ensure that your activities in and around the falls are safe.
Triangular Saltwater Caves

This excursion is a favorite of the owner. Situated only 10 min. from the resort the “blue hole or lens” visit is arranged so that you are there alone. Like the falls excursion it comes with transportation, driver, guide, lunch and drinks. The cave opening at the top is about 50 feet x 25 feet. From the top you can see the crystal clear water with a sandy and rocky bottom. Jump in or dive in from the top. The leap is an exhilarating 15 foot drop. Our guide provides a ladder for those who want to explore the bottom. The water is cool and refreshing as well as extremely safe for swimming. After your leap, you can swim up under the cave beneath the stalactites and sit on rock ledges where our guide can serve you with your favorite beverage while you take in this rare and beautiful sight.
Tarsiers and the Loboc Dinner Cruise

Not as off the beaten trail as Kinahugan Falls or Tibaw Dacu, this excursion is still a lot of fun. In this excursion you will have to back track to Tagbiliran 1 hour and 45 min. (a great time to pick up extra items from one of the shopping malls) There you will see the world’s smallest primate. The inspiration for Yoda in the Star Wars trilogy was the Tarsier. Although the viewing of this primate takes less than an hour, it’s a must. This strange mammal looks like something from another planet. From there, on the return trip you will stop at the Loboc River where you will board a jungle river boat for dinner and live entertainment by local natives. Stop and sing along with the natives as they entertain you. (It’s a little touristy but if you relax and play along with it, you’ll have a lot of fun.
Badiang Hiking Trip

Getting a little restless? Need a workout to clear the mind. We have just what the doctor ordered. A hiking trip! Now this is not for the pro who hikes five miles a day. This is a beautiful journey that starts by van. A 20 minute ride from the resort will put you at the foot of a beautiful mountain overlooking the sea. A 30 to 45 minute hike and you will have a view of Leyte, Suragao and parts of northern Mindanao. Take a rest at the top and have a picnic at one of the many native huts. Relax and our guide will prepare everything for you.
Snorkeling and Secluded Coves

Take our 30 foot Banca (Filipino for outrigger boat) with an operator to discover other snorkeling areas near our resort as well as stopping at secluded coves for romantic Robinson Crusoe fantasies. A cooler is prepared with your favorite beverages and food.
